June 1, 2008 . . . Another new web site is now ready for use by WordPoints readers: Elders-Deacons.com. This site contains a 13-lesson study on one of the most important aspects of early Christianity: the organization of local congregations with their elders (bishops, pastors) and deacons (as reflected in Phil. 1:1). Few things can help a congregation in more ways than an understanding and practice of scriptural teaching on this subject. The entire contents of the site are available for download as a free PDF e-book, which can be reprinted for use in Bible classes and study groups.

May 26, 2008 . . . New pages are being added each day to the Reaching Forward web site. We are on a pace to finish the writing by mid-September, which means that hard-copy books will be available in bookstores by November. From where we are right now, we can actually see the finish line, and we're excited!

February 4, 2008 . . . An e-book containing the six sermon outlines from the Diligently Seeking God weekend series is now available. For congregations where the series is going to be presented, this can be copied and made available to members for use during the presentation of the lessons or for later study. Others, who have not heard the lessons presented orally, can use these outlines to study the material privately.

January 25, 2008 . . . The Diligently Seeking God web site has been completely reconstructed. You can view each of the daily pages online. Also included are a Scripture index referencing every passage cited in the book and a quotations index listing each quotation from sources outside the Bible. You can read the Preface and get information on how to purchase hard copies of the book.

January 10, 2008 . . . With the new year and my new situation with the Broadmoor congregation in Nashville, Tennessee, steady work on Reaching Forward has resumed. Lord willing, the book should be ready for you this fall.

January 5, 2008 . . . A page has been added listing all the free PDF e-books that are now available from WordPoints.

January 1, 2008 . . . A new web site is now ready for use by WordPoints readers: Faith-in-Christ.com. This site contains a study of belief as it is presented in the writings of John. Included are an essay that originally appeared as a chapter in God So Loved: Studies in the Gospel of John (Florida College Press, 2002). Along with the revised essay are five study outlines: (1) What Is This Thing Called "Faith"? (2) Faith in Jesus Christ, the Only Path to Eternal Life, (3) Why Do Some Not Believe? (4) Faith in the Goodness of God, and (5) If We Have Faith, Then We Must Be Faithful. The entire contents of the site are available for download as a free PDF e-book.

January 1, 2008 . . . The Malachi, What's Hurting Us Right Now, and Pro Capital Punishment web sites have been completely reconstructed.
